educational campaigns

Buckeye® Nutrition, is proud to announce a sponsorship agreement with national reining champion and equine clinician Stacy Westfall. As part of the relationship, Westfall will appear at Buckeye® Nutrition events and participate in promotional and educational campaigns, and she will feed Buckeye® Nutrition branded products to the horses she uses during shows and clinics.
Westfall's partnership with Buckeye® Nutrition
was preceded by a three month feeding trial conducted at her Mt.
Gilead, Ohio training facility.
"I was impressed with my horses' improved muscle tone and
overall 'fit' appearance without changing their work
routines," Westfall said. "These changes were possible
without the animals having excess energy."
Westfall indicated the partnership with Buckeye®
Nutrition is a natural fit based on her interest in equine
nutrition and its impact on a horse's performance.
"Buckeye has a great reputation within the industry and we
share a common goal of educating the public to improve the lives of
our equine companions," she said.
Westfall made equine history in 2006 when she became the first
woman to win the prestigious Road to the Horse competition, vying
for the title against three of America's legendary trainers. In
2003, she captured the National Reining Horse Association Freestyle
reining championship riding without a bridle - and with not so much
as a neck rope.
Westfall also became the first person to win the American
Quarter Horse Congress Freestyle Reining competition in 2006,
riding Whizards Baby Doll both bridleless and bareback. Since then,
she has earned a reputation as one of the nation's top clinicians
and competitors, sharing her natural horsemanship knowledge to help
horsemen discover the "why" behind every horse's
actions.
"Buckeye® Nutrition feels honored to have
this opportunity to work with a top trainer and competitor like
Stacy Westfall, who truly loves horses and constantly strives to
improve their health and performance," said Ryan
Brown, Marketing Manager, Buckeye® Nutrition.
Through the sponsorship, Westfall will be promoting the Buckeye
brand at all the clinics, shows, and events she attends. In
