Taking Shape. The Buckeye tradition for the manufacturing of high quality animal feeds dates back to 1910. The company's founders focused on the manufacturing of specialty flours and breads, which inspired the development of nutritional animal feeds, using the flour milling by product process.
The successful "Buckeye Cereal Company," the proper name at the time, was reincorporated into"Buckeye Feed Mills, Inc." in 1947. It was at this time when its headquarters were moved from Massillon to Dalton, Ohio. Through over 80 years of both prosperity and diversity, the Buckeye Nutrition name is associated with a tradition for success in the feed industry.
