Compare the percent fiber on your current feed tag and see how digestible your horse feed really is. The higher the fiber, the more grain mix you will have to feed per day --- the lower the fiber, the less grain mix you will have to feed and the more forage you can feed (hay or pasture).

These calories are accurate when the fat level is 3%. If the percentage of fat is higher, then the energy level is also higher and visa-versa.
