Feeding Directions

Daily feeding requirements vary, depending on breed of rabbit, age, environmental conditions and stage of production. Some general guidelines for feeding are:

  Amount/day
Small breeds 2-3 ounces
Medium breeds 3.5-4 ounces
Large breeds 5-8 ounces

Growing rabbits and lactating does will require more food per day and should be fed free-choice. Other rabbits should be fed at the same time each day. No supplemental vitamins or minerals are necessary since 16% Rabbit Pellets are nutritionally complete and balanced. Plenty of clean, fresh water should be provided at all times.
