INGREDIENTS: Alfalfa Meal (Dehydrated), Wheat Middlings, Oat Mill By-Products, Soybean Meal, Ground Wheat, Soybean Hulls, Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Phosphate, Magnesium Oxide, Salt, Manganous Oxide, Ferrous Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Ethylenediamine Dihydriodide, Cobalt Carbonate, Sodium Selenite, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement. FEEDING DIRECTIONS: Buckeye 16% Rabbit Maintenance Pellets contain less alfalfa meal than Buckeye 16% Rabbit Pellets, which make them less expensive. They are fully fortified with the essential vitamins and minerals. They are designed more for the pet rabbit or those requiring a maintenance type diet. We do not recommend them for lactating does or for young growing rabbits. Where Buckeye 16% Rabbit Maintenance Pellets are fed to breeders and to growing rabbits 12 weeks of age and older, free choice in a rabbit feeder or a clean feed bowl. Place enough feed in the feeder that they will consume in one day. Rabbits are basically nocturnal feeders and will consume most of their feed at night. Breeding animals may have to be limit fed to maintain their ideal body weight for top reproductive performance. Rabbit will consume approximately 1 ounce of feed per pound of body weight per day or approximately 6% of body weight per day. Maintain a clean fresh supply of water available to the animals at all times. Salt or hay are not required by rabbits being fed Buckeye 16% Rabbit Maintenance Pellets and may be a source of uncleanliness to the rabbits. Where does are being worked regularly and rapid gain are required it is wise to use Buckeye 18% Rabbit Developer Pellets or Buckeye 16% Rabbit Pellets. Buckeye 18% Rabbit Developer Pellets are also use when showing for conditioning. |
