He will be 7 weeks old on Saturday....he is now also eating the Foal Starter Pellets. I am enclosing some pics of our little orphan...my little grandaugther has named him Spirit...

Underweight Mare

We purchased a mare from out of state based on a video/pictures. What was pictured as a shiny, fat healthy show horse stepped off the haulers trailer as a thin, underweight mare caked in mud and covered in rainrot. ONE month later using Grow N Win and Ultimate Finish together as a top dressing to our grain, she is a beautiful mare again. All of her hair fell out and is coming back in as a beautiful shiny coat. The Grow N Win has helped to put her back where she should be weight wise and she looks AMAZING!

I am a 29 and a half year old Quarter Horse. I will be 30 on April 6th 2011. I use to barrel race and loved contest classes at the shows. I have been on Buckeye senior maturity texture food since I have been 20 years old. At the age of 20 I foundered and had some other small health problems. That’s when my owner went to the Buckeye Senior food it holds me at a perfect weight and I don’t look like I am almost 30 years old. Shedding in the spring is normal for me and my winter coat is nice and thick. I still chase the cows around the field.

She was under weight, horrible coat and no life to her. We dewormed her, did her shots, got her feet trimmed. I went through so many types of feed and they were not doing anything for her, she was sluggish would just stand in the paddock and eat grass. My friend told me about Buckeye feeds and she has been on it for about six weeks and what a differnce in her. Her coat is soft she has muscle and is acting like a weanling feels good and totally different horse all together. My advisor is great she has been working with me on adjusting her feed program, I would advise Buckeye feeds to everyone who has a horse. Between vet bills and so on, I read an article in a magazine about EQ8. Purchased the product, 3-4weeks noticed a big difference. 2-4 months weight started back.Cribbing started to lessen.Over several months there was a constant improvement.I had my horse back with weight gain and the cribbing lessen more. My horse has been on EQ8 for one year and is doing good. It has kept his weight on and his cribbing is very minimal, coat very good. Most are on the Cadence Ultra with a few being on EQ8 Gut Health or a combination of both. All of my horses have been able to be fed less grain and have gained weight or have kept the same weight. I also feel like all of there coats are better then ever. My advanced level event horse, who is seen by Doug Hannum (a soft tissue worker who deals with all team horses at the games), has gotten many comments about how wonderful his coat looks and his body condition, after working on this horse for almost a year (starting in Febuary 2010) he says he has never seen him looks this good (our switch from Nutrena's XTN to Cadence Ultra and EQ8 was done in August of 2010).

Amazing Results with EQ8

I had amazing results with EQ8, my mare was very difficult for me to be around because she was always "over sensitive", I was amazed that this mare now want to be-friend to me in the field and eagerly participates in what is going on. We switched to EQ8 in April 2010 and the difference it has made is astonishing! We had been struggling to keep weight on a thoroughbred mare, another mare had been experiencing colic episodes for two months, and an older thoroughbred gelding had a very dull coat. Within a month all 3 horses looked awesome! Our vet remarked on the difference! No more colic episodes!
This feed is worth every penny - can't say enough positive things about EQ8!

Endurance

I have used Buckeye feeds for my Endurance horses for several years. For Endurance Riding, 50-100 mile one day rides, we need high energy without the starch. Unlike some other high fat feeds, the Buckeye feed stays palatable when used in a wet mash. We have used Trifecta and now Cadence Ultra. We also use the Ultimate Finish 100 as a top dressing during rides at the vet checks.

Our absolutely essential Buckeye product is Perform and Win Electrolyte. While other riders are fighting force tubes full of bitter and harsh electrolytes down their horses throats at vet checks, we offer P&W in my hand. My guys eat it out of my hand or off the bucket lid. Less stress. No hassle, All the stuff they need. What more could you ask for?

As for results? (here is the brag part) We recently got 3 first place finishes in a row, and 3 Best condition Awards with two different horses. Doing 50 miles per day in humid conditions on tough trails.

We have been very pleased with how the horses look, their energy levels, and their performance on Buckeye.
I have everything from a stout, "easy keeper" pony to a tall, race bred "hard keeper" Quarter horse gelding and they have all done well and have improved body condition and shinier coats.
My race bred gelding has always been difficult to keep weight on. When we started feeding Buckeye he was ribby and had a poor topline. After six months, he has gained weight, his coat is shinier, his attitude is more alert, and he looks like his old self again.
My daughter's barrel mare has also done well on Buckeye. She looks great, has been running better than ever, and is nationally qualified for the AQHYA World Championship show in Barrel Racing and Youth Stakes.
