EQ8 Transforms Horse Mateo Gut & Ulcer Issue
In 2013 I bought a six year old trakehner, Mateo, who had lived on the same property he was born at for his entire life. Then I came along, bought him and started eventing him. As you might have predicted, he developed ulcers. Once we discovered what was wrong, 90% of my brain power was spent worrying about my horse's stomach and gut. After a lot of trial and error and some serious maintenance, he was still showing some discomfort.
Thanks to an amazing barn manager and good friend, I was introduced to EQ8™. A week on this feed and my horse was gaining needed weight and switched from ear pinning as his go to response, to perking up and resting his muzzle on my hip. Competition wise, we went from not even being able to complete a novice course without me getting dumped, to moving up to training level. Our debut horse trial of the season and at training, we won the dressage on a 26 and ended up finishing in third overall. I swear by EQ8 and am so thankful that I found that last piece of my horse's needed maintenance to allow him to feel and perform at his best. A big thanks to BUCKEYE® from Mateo and me!
Cadence Ultra Helps Finicky Horse Waylin
Waylin is a 12-year-old thoroughbred that I have had for four years now. Over the years I have tried everything to get him to eat and gain weight. About seven months ago, it was suggested by one of my feed stores employees to try the Cadence™ Ultra. I was prepared for him to turn his nose up at it as he has done over and over again. I was in total shock when he started eating it like he hadn't had food for years.
In the seven months since he has been eating the Cadence Ultra, not only has he gained weight and muscle but he also had dapples for the first time in four years. My farrier also said that his feet have never looked better. Waylin is a much happier and healthier horse thanks to BUCKEYE® Cadence Ultra. I would recommend Cadence Ultra and any of the BUCKEYE® products.
Simon the Painter Loves Peppermint Treats
I've been clicker training my Haflinger horse, Simon, and have taught him many tricks. He picks up my crop and "hands" it to me, picks up his dish for treats, plays basketball, holds signs, and the latest is painting (he holds the brush between his teeth). The main reward I use is your BUCKEYE® Peppermint Treats. They're the perfect size, and he loves them.
BUCKEYE Donates Feed to Needy Horse
It was three years ago today that BUCKEYE® generously gave more than 200 bags of feed to the people and rescue organizations that helped me find homes for over 52 thoroughbreds that were destined for auction. Janice Lavrich who was a BUCKEYE® dealer helped arrange for several of the people and rescues who took over five horses each to be the beneficiary of the free feed.
I didn't know how to thank them and neither did the people who received the help. So three years later I am still writing to tell everyone how GREAT this company is. As we all know, feeding over five horses that are newly acquired is a major expense and thanks to BUCKEYE®, they got a great start in life at their new homes. May the gods who look over our majestic animals smile today as some of those horses turned out to be champion jumpers and winning racehorses as well as just family pets. Bless you BUCKEYE®!
Tucker gains weight with EQ8 Gut Health & No More Colic
I have a 10 year old quarter horse gelding that has always been hard to keep weight on. He is picky and doesn’t give much thought to food. I somewhat recently moved him to a new barn where he was introduced to a herd for the first time. As low man and first timer to the herd environment he dropped weight incredibly fast. Not only the weight loss, but he had two bouts of minor colic as well. At this time I switched him from a custom mix feed to Buckeye EQ8 Gut Health. I slowly worked him up to 4.5 lbs/day (he’s only being used for some walk/trot right now) and within the last 2 months he has gained back most of his weight and is shiny and happy! No more colic either! I am very impressed with the results and happy that I don’t need to overload Tucker with more grain or supplements. I never thought that Tucker would gain weight as well as he is on just 4.5 lbs/day. Thank you for providing such a wonderful product!"
OLA maintains weight & is still energized after competition
Meet OLA Loki and owner Bonnie! Loki is insulin resistant, but still competed 665 miles in competitive trail, endurance and limited distance endurance to win the regional championship, Part Arab championship, the Charles Phillips Versatility award and the AHDRA versatility award.
"While he is competing, Loki gets Cadence, which he LOVES, and GRO 'N WIN. He was able to maintain his weight and remain full of energy even after three days in a row of competing and going week after week. When he is not competing he just gets GRO 'N WIN. Thanks you for taking the time to do the research and produce great products for the performance horse."

Charlie's coat shines with GRO 'N Win
I love your product Gro 'N Win! I adopted a 2011 standardbred gelding in March, and although he was in good condition for a stockyard rescue, he still was on the thin side with a dull/scraggly coat. Even after a month or so of TLC and being on a regular feeding program, Charlie was lethargic with a dull coat, so I called my local pet pharmacy/feed store and asked for suggestions. They put me in contact with a Buckeye nutritionist, and she suggested Gro 'N Win. Within a week, Charlie started to shine up, muscle up and had so much more energy! He looks fantastic - and he LOVES it. Charlie and I thank you so much for such a fantastic product!

"Best grain ever. Love that its low carb and sugars"
Laura, OH: "Since my older horse has been fed safe n easy, he has not had colic even once. I have owned him almost 12 years and he had reatedly suffered bouts of colic every year. We tried everything! I dont think that is a cure for colic, but I will say that my horse is healthier, no longer looks bloated and seems much calmer and happier!"
