OUR HISTORY.

The Pocock family of Massillon, Ohio, started the Buckeye Cereal Company in 1910. Quality was the company’s hallmark. They eventually ventured into producing livestock feeds, and the brand's popularity grew throughout the Midwest.

In 2005, Mars, Incorporated, also a family-owned company, purchased BUCKEYE™ Nutrition, and the focus shifted to premium equine nutrition products. Today, BUCKEYE Nutrition produces its flagship products such as GRO N’ WIN™, CADENCE™ Ultra and ULTIMATE FINISH™ 25, as well as solutions-focused feeds like our EQ8™ Gut Health product line.
