CAITLYN CABY

Caitlyn Caby was born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin with a lifelong passion for horses, growing up barrel racing and showing the all-around pleasure events on both local and national levels. She earned her B.S. in Equine Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2021, where she was deeply involved in the equine program. Her educational path led to an internship at a leading breeding and performance horse operation in north Texas, where she gained hands-on experience in performance horse management, reproduction, and rehabilitation. This opportunity highlighted the critical importance of high-quality nutrition for horses at every stage, from breeding stallions and gestational broodmares to growing foals and elite athletes. Following graduation, Caitlyn moved back home to Wisconsin and dove further into the horse industry, working for several years as an equine vet tech. Her experiences in veterinary medicine reinforced her belief in the need for science-based nutritional solutions throughout the industry, as well as accessible nutritional resources for horse owners and managers. She now channels her knowledge and passion into her role as Technical Marketing Nutrition Specialist for Mars Horsecare US and BUCKEYE™ Nutrition. Outside of work, Caitlyn can usually be found trail riding through the backwoods of the Midwest with her two quarter horse geldings, camping, or enjoying live music. She also volunteers with her childhood 4-H club, and thoroughly enjoys helping local youth discover their passion for the horse world.
